IAC for Environmental Protection to participate in the Regional Environmental Summit RES 2026

   On April 24, 2026, the Regional Environmental Summit RES 2026 will be held in Astana, focusing on key issues of environmental policy, sustainable development, and the implementation of modern technological solutions in the environmental sector.

   The summit will bring together representatives of government bodies, international organizations, the expert community, and the business sector, providing a platform for comprehensive discussion of current challenges and priorities in environmental management.

   As part of the program, the Director General of the Information and Analytical Center for Environmental Protection will participate in a panel session dedicated to the application of digital solutions and artificial intelligence in environmental management.

    The presentation will address the transformation of environmental governance in the context of digitalization, the transition to data-driven decision-making, and the implementation of digital platforms and analytical tools.

     Particular attention will be given to the development of a unified environmental information system integrating monitoring data, automated emission control systems, and reporting from natural resource users.

   The role of artificial intelligence as a tool for improving data analysis, identifying environmental risks, and supporting decision-making processes will also be highlighted.
